Issue 27 of Teen Breathe is out now and is full of great articles. I love the one about embracing whimsy and being spontaneous. I have tried to do this more recently by going for a swim, even thought weather is a bit cooler, taking the scenic route rather than the quickest one, and making plans on the fly rather than planning everything out in advance. It's been fun.
It's Mental Health Week. Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation that provides early intervention and support to 12-25 year-olds. Their website is full of information, articles and interactive activities. You can find them at https://headspace.org.au.

Kids helpline has a great article on how to manage anxiety. You can find it at https://kidshelpline.com.au/teens/issues/how-manage-anxiety Everyone feels anxious sometimes but if anxiety is making it difficult to do life - you might need to see a counsellor or psychologist. You can talk to your school chaplain, a teacher, your parents, a friend's mum or your family doctor.
Shine from Within are offering a free two week trial of their online academy. This includes access to both live and recorded workshops on topics such as activism, movement, wellness, creativity and life skills. There are presenters from around the world. The great thing is, you can access them from anywhere. Once your free trial is up, it only costs $25 per month. It would be a great thing to do during the Easter break.
