You're never too old for a good Easter egg hunt. Here are some ideas to take your egg hunt to the next level. One year while we were on Easter Holidays at the beach we decided to put the eggs in snap lock bags and bury them at the beach. We made it easier by marking each egg with a flag. We gave each kid a shovel and watched them dig. I don't know what happened but it turned out to be much harder to find them than we intended. We even got the dads digging but that didn't help. If you're ever holidaying by the beach and find an Easter egg in a snap lock bag, you're welcome.

I love these cute macrame and cinnamon stick Christmas decorations. You could always use small sticks if you don't have cinnamon sticks. Christmas is a month away so I thought I would share some gift ideas that are under $10. These would be great for your friends. I did a manicure/pedicure jar, a stationary jar and the classic lolly/chocolate jars. I'm sure you could think of a lot more. I bought the jars at Big W - they were six for $6. Manicure/pedicure jar - Total cost $8 Jar - $1 from Big W Nail polish - $1 each from K-Mart (I bought a pack of eight for $8) Hand cream and nail file and buff set - $4 on sale from Priceline Nail polish remover wipes - $1 from K-Mart Stationery jar - Total cost $9 Jar - $1 from Big W Sticky notes - $2 from K-Mart Highlighters - $2 from K-Mart Coloured pens - $2 from K-Mart Chocolate or lolly jar
The price varies depending on your candy or chocolate of choice. This would look great with:

This video is a couple of years old but there are some good ideas. Forget the wintery ones if you're in Australia - it's like 40 degrees outside. If you live in Australia, it's Father's Day tomorrow. If you haven't got dad a gift yet, it's not too late to make these DIY scratchie cards for him. Check out how to make them below. I've included a free download to print. If you are completely disorganised, or completely broke, here is a great Father's Day gift idea. You can print out these Dad Tickets from Nellie Design and write favours for your Dad that will really mean something to him. If you don't like these vouchers, you can find other designs at The Spruce Crafts website. Here are some examples of favours:
