I have seen this done multiple times by DIYers online. Here is my version of a Father's Day flip book made from a deck of cards, a free PDF (see below) and some hinged rings (available from Officeworks). Just write and/or draw 52 things you love about your Dad. Here are some ideas to get you started:
His corny dad jokes
His quirky socks
How devoted he is to his family
Driving you to sports training
His awesome BBQ skills
His great taste in clothes
His great pancakes
His bear hugs
His ability to fix anything that's broken
His great listening skills
His love of 90s music
His passion for fishing
He is a good listener
His unconditional love
His ability to cheer you up when you're down
His funny stories about when he was a kid
He loves dogs
His great gardening skills
He always understands when you need a Maccas run
His love of Indian food...
I made a little hole punch guide so that the holes would be in the same spot on all the cards. (see image below).
These are super cute and super easy. They would make a great gift idea for a friend, sister, mum or grandmother. I made mine in an evening using slippers from Target, a Kmart pom pom maker, and yarn from Spotlight. You can watch the Red Ted Art pom pom tutorial below.
Let's face it - Mother's Day is a bit of a struggle this year and your Mum probably needs pampering more than ever so why not make her these awesome spa products and give her a facial at home (if she's game). Most of the ingredients can be found in your fridge or pantry or you can find them at your local grocery store ( or chemist for the Vitamin E oil). According to www.allure.com a facial should include the following:
Here are some recipes for spa products:
Oil Cleanser for dry skin - https://helloglow.co
Honey and Brown Sugar Scrub - https://helloglow.co
Olive Oil Lips Scrub - https://www.thewonderforest.com
Honey and Oatmeal Face Mask - https://www.somewhatsimple.com
Simple Homemade Moisturiser - https://livesimply.me
I'm sure your Mum would be thrilled if you made just one of these products for her and put it in a nice jar for Mother's Day but if you want to go all out and make all of them - good for you!
