August 23rd - 30th 2015 is National Op Shop Week. It's the perfect time to take everything out of your wardrobe and only put back the items that fit into and that you actually wear. You can take the rest to your local op shop - mind you they ask that you'd only donate items that you'd be happy to give to a friend.
You could also pick up a bargain. You can find more details here. The lyrics say it all. Go easy on the cherry wine though. Check out this and other great decorating ideas at decoratingyoursmallspace.com. You can find them on Pinterest too.
57.3% of 14-17 year olds abstained from alcohol in 2013 compared to 28% in 2001. There is plenty of research to indicate that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption under the age of 18 as it can damage the developing brain. Better to be safe than sorry. I love this DIY Macrame Tank Top by Closet Freak which would make a great beach coverup. You can find the instructions here.
We're about half way through the 40 hour famine. If you gave up technology then you shouldn't be reading this but I just read an article on the Girlfriend website called 40 Things to do this Famine Weekend that are Technology Free. I think it's a great idea to include technology free fun in every day. Here are some of my favourite ideas from the article. You can find the full article here.
1. Bust out the board games 2. Read a book 3. Paint your nails 4. Clean out your wardrobe 5. Do some baking. One of the biggest lies that guys use to get what they want is "if you loved me, you'd do it." Don't be pressured into doing anything that you're not comfortable with or ready for. It's ok to say no. Watch this hilarious but helpful clip on consent and show it to your boyfriends.
