Beauty Redefined is a not for profit organisation started by two American sisters, Lindsay and Lexie, who studied media and body image. Their website and Facebook pages are aimed at helping girls and women develop a positive body image and to recognise, reject and resist harmful messages about women in the media.  Check it out!

This is an interesting reminder that the ideal body shape changes depending on the culture of the time.  What's important is being healthy rather than fitting a particular body type.

Sugar Venom is an Australian company that manufactures cruelty free (not tested on animals) and toxic free cosmetics.  They have a very interesting article on what's wrong with makeup - you can read it here. You absorb 60% of what you put on your skin so it makes sense to carefully consider the products you use.  They sell, mineral eye shadows, lip glosses, eyeliner, mascara and false lashes.  They sell bundled sets too.
