Ash Barty is a 23 year old Indigenous Australian tennis player who just won the French Open. This is her first Grand Slam win and it has taken a lot of effort and determination to get there. When she was 18 years old Ash took a break from tennis because she was struggling with the pressure of being a professional tennis player and home sickness. She even played cricket for Queensland for a while. Thankfully she made a return to tennis in 2016. Last year she was made the National Indigenous Tennis Ambassador and also supports young players.

Melati and Isabel are two teenagers from Bali who started the NGO Bye Bye Plastic Bags in 2013 aged just 12 and 10. Their organisation has been instrumental in reducing the use of plastic bags in Bali. In 2018 they also launched Bali's Biggest Clean-up with 20,000 people cleaning up 65 tons of rubbish in Bali. The girls speak at environmental conferences and schools. Their advice to other teens is, find that one thing that you are passionate about, and go for it. You can read more about their Bye Bye Plastic Bags here.
