Melati and Isabel are two teenagers from Bali who started the NGO Bye Bye Plastic Bags in 2013 aged just 12 and 10. Their organisation has been instrumental in reducing the use of plastic bags in Bali. In 2018 they also launched Bali's Biggest Clean-up with 20,000 people cleaning up 65 tons of rubbish in Bali. The girls speak at environmental conferences and schools. Their advice to other teens is, find that one thing that you are passionate about, and go for it.
