These would make a great gift instead of chocolate this Easter!

These are super cute and super easy. They would make a great gift idea for a friend, sister, mum or grandmother. I made mine in an evening using slippers from Target, a Kmart pom pom maker, and yarn from Spotlight. You can watch the Red Ted Art pom pom tutorial below.

I made these gorgeous Sugar cookies last week. They are cute and delicious. The deer shape was quite tricky but you could make Christmas trees, stars or other shaped cookies. They would also make a great homemade Christmas gift.

I have been trying to cut down on the amount of waste I generate. Even though I love wrapping paper, it is expensive and bad for the environment. Here are some alternatives that either reuse items around the house or are reusable. I have a box of recycled ribbons and string to decorate parcels.

Download and print this Father's Day booklet. Fill in the blanks, cut out the pages, glue them onto some card and voila! A meaningful Father's Day gift. 

These origami pull out drawers are really easy to make. They would be great as a gift box or you could use them to store your jewellery or stationery. 

This gift idea is so easy and pretty cheap. I washed an empty tomato tin and punctured a couple of holes in the bottom for drainage with a hammer and nail. Then I covered it in blackboard contact from K-Mart and wrote a corny label in chalk pen. The good thing is it's chalk so if you mess it up you can just wipe it off with a damp cloth and start again. I bought the thyme at the local farmers' market but you can buy herbs at the hardware store or garden centre. I love a good pun and couldn't resist this one! 

These would make a great gift and are an awesome way to recycle paper. A great holiday project or gift idea.
