We went shopping for bathers yesterday - an exercise which can make even the thinnest girls break out in a cold sweat. We're loving the buy two separates for $35 at Cotton On. At that price you can afford several pairs. Check out their range here.

As Year 12 students get ready for mock exams, here is some great advice from Jo Messer. The full article is well worth a read, you can find it at careerfaqs.com.au.
1. Most people don't know what they want to do when they finish school - it's normal!
2. Your marks don't define your course or career choice.
3. There is more than one road to the same destination (e.g., bridging course).
4. You need to be aware of what your influences are (family, friends etc).
5. If you take a year off, use it wisely.

Here's a list inspired by Pamela Eyring's article in The Sydney Morning Herald. I think we've all been guilty of breaking one or two (or all) of these social rules regarding mobile phones.
1. Don't text or take calls when you're face-to-face with someone else (let voicemail do its job).
2. Don't yell or raise your voice - the whole train carriage does not want to know what you did on the weekend.
3. Put your phone on silent in restaurants, movie theatres, concerts, the Library etc.
4. Don't make staff wait - at the checkout or a restaurant.
5. Don't use your phone while driving.
6. Watch your language.
7. Don't use your mobile phone in the toilet - gross!

In the latest Girlfriend Magazine, editor, Sarah Tarca, shares her fashion rules.
1. Glitter is a neutral.
2. Know your body type.
3. But if you really love it, wear it anyway.
4. You don't have to stick to one style.
5. Good shoes are everything.
I would add:
6. Dress to the size you are, not the size you want to be.
7. Know your colours.
8. Leave something to the imagination (I'm not getting the neckline to your navel thing).
9. Have some fun (I love colourful socks).
10. Own something leopard print.
