According to experts, colour undeniably affects your mood.
Red for fear, anger and passion - use it sparingly, such as in a clutch or nail polish.
Blue for relaxing - great for first dates and job interviews.
Green for refreshed or relaxed - looks good on every skin tone.
Yellow for joyous and happy - don't wear too much unless you want to look like a walking banana.
Orange for enthusiasm and creativity.
Purple for confidence - good for job interviews.
Black for formality - it can either be a downer (think villains or funerals) or tres chic (think Audrey Hepburn).
See this Huffington Post article for more information.
Regardless of what effect colour has on our moods I think we all need to inject a bit more of it into our wardrobes, especially as the weather turns grey.

I've just finished reading Love Tanya by UK vlogger and makeup artist Tanya Burr.  Tanya began her working life on a cosmetics counter and started posting YouTube tutorials.  She now has her own cosmetics range, a YouTube channel with nearly 3 million subscribers, a book and 1.7 million Instagram followers.  Her book is part autobiography, part beauty guide, part life coach and part diary with sections for you to fill in.  In the book Tanya shared her journey with anxiety and how she has learnt to overcome it. I loved it!

This is for all you girls who are on Struggle Street - struggling with school and exams, having a difficult time with your family, ditched by your friends, dumped by your boyfriend or just down in the dumps.  This song always lifts my mood.

You'll never be that girl, because you're you.  Besides, I think that you'll find being that girl isn't all it's cracked up to be and being you can be pretty darn wonderful - it depends how you look at it.
