We have sponsored some students in Cambodia who recently graduated high school. They came from the slums and even though they don't have much, they are grateful for what they have. Many of these are things we take for granted in Australia. They are grateful they were able to go to school, for the bottomless lunches they enjoyed, for the opportunity to go to university, for friends and family... No matter what your circumstances, you have things you can be grateful for such as sunny spring days, music, food, friends, etc.

Turn your phone on silent, grab a hat and go for a wildflower walk. If there are no wildflowers near you, look for any flowers - even many weeds have nice flowers. Don't pick them - just pay attention to them. How many different ones can you find?

Cambodians don't have a lot compared to almost everyone in Australia, but they are generally happy to share what they have.

Put your phone away, or on silent, grab a pack of cards and play solitaire. It's quite relaxing. I bought a cute pack of cards while I was on holidays and played quite a bit.
