This post was inspired by a study by Dr Rachel Curtis at the University of South Australia - read more here. The study found that:
  • about a quarter posted images that were hyper-sexualised or contained objectification or nudity.
  • about two thirds promoted dubious fitness information.
A quick search of fitness influencers confirmed these finding with lots of butt cheeks, thigh gaps, six packs and cleavage. What I didn't find is a lot of scientifically based information or diversity.
