I have a confession to make, I have never embroidered anything before. I wanted to wear my beat up, holey Chuck Taylors to a concert but they were looking a bit sad. So I embroidered some flowers on them to make them more concert-worthy. One of the flowers covers a hole and another one covers a blood stain from when I pricked my finger with the needle. I must admit, embroidering shoes was tricky, but I think you will agree it was worth it. I will definitively try a different embroidery project sometime.

You can find some great YouTube tutorials that show you how to embroider different stitches. This project just used Satin Stitch, Lazy Daisy, and French Knot. I used the Penguin and Fish tutorials (see below).
