1. Exercise - I know it's the last thing you feel like doing but gentle exercise can help because it releases endorphins (happy chemicals). Try going for a walk or these Yoga Poses from Popsugar.
2. Use a heat pack on your belly or lower back.
3. Have a hot drink - caffeine can worsen your symptoms so avoid coffee. Herbal tea is recommended but I'm not a fan. I'll be reaching for the Milo.
4. Use pain relief from your supermarket or chemist.
If your period pain is bad enough to keep you home from work or school, see your doctor.
